【브레이크뉴스 충북】김병주 기자=세계무술연맹(대표 정화태)은 유네스코 카테고리2 기관인 유네스코 아시아·태평양지역 무형문화유산 국제정보네트워킹센터(사무총장 김지성)와 무술 및 무형유산 정보공유플랫폼 구축 등을 위한 포괄적 협력을 강화하기 위해 지난 3일 서면으로 업무협약을 체결했다.

이 업무협약을 통해 연맹은 각국 무술의 정보·자료 공유 및 다각적 소통을 위한 '무술아카이브' 구축과 운영·관리에 대해 ichLinks와 연계해 센터의 자문 및 지원을 받을 수 있게 되었고, 센터는 무술을 포함한 아태지역의 무형유산 조사, 연구, 기록, 활동 촉진 및 무형유산 보호의 필요성과 인식이 제고될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

양 기관은 지난해 12월부터 ichLinks와 연계한 무술아카이브 시범페이지를 구축해왔고 올해 상반기 중 베타서비스를 제공할 계획이다.

또 오는 17일 12개국 문화유산관련 국공립기관 전문가가 참가하는 온라인화상회의를 통해 연맹과 센터의 협력사례를 소개할 예정이다.

세계무술연맹 민경창 사무총장은 "연맹의 지난 20년간의 활동과 그 결과물들이 무술아카이브와 함께 현재 개편 중에 있는 연맹홈페이지를 통해 보다 체계적으로 기록되고 다양한 분야에서 공유·활용되어지길 바라며 나아가 무술을 포함한 각국의 무형문화유산이 잘 보존되고 발전될 수 있도록 무형유산 전문 국제기관인 아태무형유산센터와 국제무예센터, 세계무예마스터십위원회, 한국무예총연합회와 같은 유관기관과도 적극적인 협력을 이어갈 계획이다"고 밝혔다.

Through this business agreement, the Federation will be able to receive advice and support from the Center in connection with ichLinks on the establishment, operation, and management of a 'Martial Arts Archive' for information and data sharing and multi-faceted communication of each country's martial arts, and the center It is expected that awareness of the need and awareness of intangible heritage research, research, documentation, promotion of activities and safeguarding of intangible heritage in the Asia-Pacific region will be raised.

Both organizations have been building a demonstration page for martial arts archives linked with ichLinks since December last year, and plan to provide beta service in the first half of this year. In addition, on March 17th, through an online video conference in which experts from national and public institutions related to cultural heritage from 12 countries participate, examples of cooperation between the Federation and the Center will be introduced.

World Martial Arts Federation Secretary General Min Kyung-chang said, "I hope that the activities and results of the past 20 years of the Federation will be recorded more systematically and shared and utilized in various fields, along with the martial arts archive, through the website that is currently being reorganized. We plan to continue active cooperation with related organizations such as the Asia-Pacific Intangible Heritage Center, the International Martial Arts Center, the World Martial Arts Mastership Committee, and the Korean Martial Arts Federation, so that the intangible cultural heritage of Korea can be well preserved and developed.”
